It’s the time that everyone’s been waiting for – the official announcement of the Thryv Grant prize winners!
There were over 1,000 entries for the Grant, an overwhelming amount of support and some incredible stories of grit, determination and passion.
Of course, having to pick just three winners from so many wonderful entries was tough going, and after much deliberation, our judges have come to a conclusion.
In second place, each taking home $5,000 cash and a year of Thryv software…

Finally, we come to the announcement you’ve all been waiting for: The Grand Prize winner!
The winner of the Thryv Grant #1 prize will take home $15,000 cash, will receive mentoring from Tradies in Business and The Small Business Community’s Tori Packer, and win a year’s worth of Thryv software subscription.

The biggest congratulations to Aleace and Rach at Aloca! We reached out to Aleace about her win, and this is what she had to say:
What did you do when you heard you had won the Thryv Grant?
“To be honest, I was initially in shock. I was not expecting to win at all, then to hear we won the Grand Prize was incredible. I immediately called my business partner Rach who was also in disbelief and we both celebrated over the phone. Later that night we had a champagne over zoom as a team and started thinking of all the ways we could spend the money!
“Winning the Thryv Grant will help us bring awareness to our brand. We have some really creative marketing ideas that we can now implement with the help from the Thryv Grant. There are also some improvements to our website we can now action. All in all, it gives us some freedom to improve some areas of our business that will accelerate our growth.”
In their application to the Thryv Grant, Aleace wanted to streamline their processes and stop using multiple systems to get one job done. We hope the cash prize, the mentoring and a year’s worth of Thryv software will help you accomplish just that, Aleace.
